I Am Single For Reasons

These are, believe it or not, actual statements from various moments in my dating history thus far. They speak for themselves, really.

They’re not all of my reasons (see pretty much any of my other comics), and I’ve met people that were wonderful, but these lines are definitely the ones that make me contemplate shankings.

A few things have come together like a perfect storm this month to land me in a sticky situation: a lack of work hours, significant car repair bills and an upcoming trip means I will be unable to pay crucial bills.

Including rent.

I’d like to keep making my way into an art career and get back into art school, but that can’t happen while I’m struggling.  As it is, I’m on my own out here. To make ends meet I’ve opened up commissions and added a donation button to the sidebar.

Wow, where the hell have I been?

Thank you to those who have kept following and encouraging me through these employment woes and art block. Spotted will continue (the second page will be accessible through the tags), but I’ll be throwing shorter comics in between the intense page-length ones.

Just a quick preview of the upcoming page. The yanked tendon in my drawing arm is finally feeling better, and I am once again able to draw without wincing. Things will recommence as before!
